Indigo became the one stop shop for Renewable Beauty skincare. The ultimate goal was to create a branding which visually bonded the company’s deep roots in science and technology with sustainability, simplicity and beauty.

Starting off, Indigo created a logo based on the clear simple geometric forms of the double helix and the leaf form from the berry plant that is a staple ingredient of the product. The fusion resulted in a clean, clear branding mark signifying elegance and simplicity in nature and technology.

Indigo provided and managed the photography, to support the company’s clean crisp and organic essence. High quality digital images were selected and collected in continuing with the remaining visual directives.

Moving forward, Indigo created and managed the packaging for the brand, embracing natural, clean, simple materials and 100% recycled paper for all labels and boxes, and leaflets.

Following the product packaging, Indigo then created an online presence for Renewable Beauty in designing and developing a site fully managed by a CMS allowing easy updates, and edits to product.

Additionally, in order to enable Renewable Beauty to easily create, send, manage and gather feedback on email blasts and product promotions; Indigo designed and setup a newsletter template encompassing the new branding, hosted on Indigo Campaign.

All in all, renewable beauty is now fully realized, launched and entirely equip to manage, inform and embed their methodology of technology meeting nature and sustainable packaging and cosmetics amongst the market.

The Golden Pheasant Inn is a family-owned an operated, Bucks County asset featuring a historical, fieldstone landmark along the Deleware River with a acclaimed restaurant dedicated to featuring family owned, organic purveyors. “Our emphasis is on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with a menu that changes seasonally.”

The Golden Pheasant Inn approached Indigo with the problem of a site 15 years outdated and a need for an updated logo that would speak to the elegance and simplicity of the Restaurant/Inn and its’ philosophy.

New Golden Pheasant Splash Page

visit the site

Indigo worked with Golden Pheasant Inn to develop a site design reflecting the attributes and atmosphere of the Inn and its’ charming location. Indigo also equipped the Golden Pheasant Inn with with a CMS that fully accommodates and organizes news events, menu changes, and promotions for the Restaurant/Inn. Golden Pheasant Inn affiliates can take full advantage the ease in updating all site content completely independently. Indigo has created a temporary splash page on the Golden Pheasant Inn’s website location to offer information and manage bookings and reservations until the full site launch January 2012. http://www.goldenpheasant.com/

Indigo outfitted the Golden Pheasant Inn with a contemporary, simplified logo, emulating the distinguished intimacy and poise of the Inn. The color palette and silhouette are dignified while still very much approachable and inviting.

New Golden Pheasant Logo

Indigo designed and arranged additional layout sets of the Golden Pheasant Inn’s new logo for all affiliated items and apparel.

New Golden Pheasant Logo (Apparels)

Madeleine’s is now transformed from the fashion world’s sought after vintage showroom, to a successful and fully functional e-commerce vintage boutique with the help of Indigo Design.

C. Madeline’s unique and specific navigation required Indigo to develop a separate but compatible interface for the store that could then be transferred to the Big Commerce platform. Through wire frame mockups Indigo worked side by side with C. Madeline’s to develop a navigation system appropriate for vintage couture clients.

Indigo also developed a visual strategy and design to showcase the clothing in a contemporary re-contextualized light. Allowing a fresh, timeless look to translate through the product and site itself.

Thanks to a clean, a easy to navigate site and homepage promotionals, site traffic and C. Madeline’s purchases have quadrupled since launch.

After six years the Indigo logo was due for a facelift. By using basic, fundamental shapes our new butterfly is ready to represent Indigo’s continuing statement toward simple, powerful design.

Take a look at how it was created below:

Step 1

1.) After sketching out the basic layout,
we chose an overall shape to generate all the parts of the logo.

Step 2

2.) Starting with Basic circles and gradients of the Indigo color
scheme and branding are laid out.

Step 3

3.) The circles then meet to overlap and produce another shape and shade where they meet.

Step 4

4.) The wings are a result of the overlap between the circles.

Step 5

5.) The wings are multiplied in different shades of the Indigo color scheme to
suggest top and bottom wings.

Step 6

6.) Layering the gradients in this case serves both purposes of animating
the logo, making the butterfly appear as if it were flying.

Step 7

7.) Once the wings were in place the body was pieced together using lines and shapes generated from the wing shape. The body uses the dot of the “i” of the typeface used in the branding.

Step 8

8.) The new logo is to be placed with the original selected branding typeface Chalet 1970.

Step 9

9.) The new logo is positioned to continue to dot the Indigo “I” from here until the next logo update.

Previous Logo

10.) Farewell old logo! Its been fun!

Since Red Market’s recent location opening in Miami and due to changing technology i.e.smartphones, Ipads etc., the Red Market site was due for an optimization make over. The site which was once entirely flash is now entirely HTML and CSS styled in order to reach the widest audience possible, and maintain flexibility between devices.

In addition, social networking, managing appointments, product details, and stylist bios are essential to salon. Red Market not only expects this to be easily manageable but depends on it operate smoothly. We replaced the former CMS with WordPress, our choice CMS. This allows members of the Red Market Team to easily and independently manage their content.

Red Market now has a site that is in sync with the expanding success of the salon’s needs.

The latest forerunner in modern, sophisticated handbag set design, Emilce Borz, is generating her first big wave in the fashion designer handbag market.

Borz’s clever designs offer real-world, carryall solutions organized in sleek, elegant, modular sets; while her bold patterns, and dynamic color combinations (inspired by her native Rosario, Argentina and Latin America) maintain a timeless appeal.

The structured styles of the brand are met with, soft Italian leather, a rich color palette and fine hardware, an assured winning combination for upcoming magazine/ fashion event success and customer infatuation.

Overall, the site required a straight forward approach along with the client’s required functionality.

Using a dark color palette with an touch of fuchsia, Indigo design has provided another effective minimalist approach to the website, allowing the brand leeway to speak for itself.

Understanding that the Borz’s collections would rotate 3 times a year, an easy to use collection gallery display, with a password protected area for pre-launch and press reviews was essential.

The second feature included providing a section to for Borz’s PR company to access the site, publish articles, press releases and featured editorials.

Thirdly, dynamic forms proved critical in making viewer management a wonderfully light task for the client.
